SBL Scheme

  • Employers are allowed to identify their own training needs and to implement their training programs to retrain and upgrade their employees’ skills in line with their operational and business requirements.
  • Training is conducted either on-the-job, off-the-job or a combination of both to suit the requirements of the organizations.
  • Trainings are conducted by internal trainers, external trainers or overseas trainers who expertise in specific areas that are not available locally.
  • To qualify for training grants, training programs must be structured to have the following:-
    • Specific training objectives.
    • Specific training activities or lesson plans.
    • Guided instructions by qualified instructors / trainers.
    • Assessment to determine the level of attainment of the training objectives.
