Employers are allowed to identify their own training needs and to implement their training programs to retrain and upgrade their
   employees’ skills in line with their operational and business requirements.

Training is conducted either on-the-job, off-the-job or a combination of both to suit the requirements of the organizations.

Trainings can be conducted by internal and external trainers. For specific training areas that are not available locally, overseas trainers are permitted to train.

To qualify for training grants, training programs must be structured withthe following:
  • Specific training objectives.
  • Specific training activities or lesson plans.
  • Guided instructions by qualified instructors / trainers.
  • Assessment to determine the level of attainment of the training objectives.
